observing the world around me one day at a time

About

I’m a filmmaker and editor from Anchorage, Alaska, now based in Salt Lake City. I earned my Film degree from the University of Utah, where I interned in documentary production, recieved a scholarship to study abroad in Italy, and wrote the award-winning short Happy Birthday Bitch as my senior thesis.

Since graduating in 2024, I’ve worked as an editor at a local production studio where I worked with clients nationwide, including projects connected to Sundance. I love to travel and document the people and places I encounter, and my work centers on strong storytelling, thoughtful pacing, and collaboration—shaping authentic stories from raw footage.

From a young age, I was obsessed with cameras—often sticking my eye right up to the lens, which earned me the nickname Jenny Big Eye. Now, when I’m not working, I’m usually documenting my family and our adventures, most of which involve fishing. Whether it’s a family trip to Seldovia, a quick hike to the bluff, or a day on the boat, I always have my camera with me. Documenting these seemingly mundane moments matters to me, because there’s so much meaning and beauty in the everyday..
